Search Before Posting / Duplicate Posts
Half the time movies are already here, so all you have to do is search for them.
You can find how to search above. All our movies are titled, and catagorised by whatever the IMDB website tells us and if a different rule applies it is posted as a sticky in the section the movie should be in. We are aware that mistakes can be made, but we must stick to these guidelines to ensure fairness.
If it is the same link OR same host site then this is classed as a duplicate post.
1 movie title PER HOST, same movie same host MUST be posted as alternative link UNLESS you have uploaded the movie yourself and it is CLEARLY stated on the post.
*Note:A personal upload may ALWAYS make a new thread,but you must say in the thread "My upload",its important to give users with their own uploads a seperate thread. No one wants to spend hours uploading a film to have it merged into someone elses thread.

All threads which are posted as "my uploads" have to have BOTH "movie-forumz.tv" in the title or description WITH the username of the person posting it on the forum (as we know others will claim your upload as their own), to be accepted as a my upload.
Requests
Are to be made here any requests made anywhere else or not in accordance with request section rules which you can find here will be deleted.
Mixed Host Media
If a thread is listed with a Stagevu host prefix for example, ONLY Stagevu alternative links are allowed to be added to the existing Stagevu thread. You may ONLY add alternatives of the same host specified by the host prefix to an already existing thread and NOT make a new thread for the same movie, the only exception is a personal upload.
This does not apply to Tv Series / Reality etc., Anime / Cartoons and downloads only (TV / Movie). Please use the Multihost prefix where necessary.
Correct section, Proper Title, Prefix, Thumbnail, Description & ImDb
Check the release year of the movie as per ImDb and post it in the right section.
Download only movies / Tv Shows are to be posted in the Download section / Movies or / Tv.
Anime / Cartoons, Tv Shows as well as documentaries will be posted in the appropriate sections and NOT in the yearly sections.
Your new thread will include:
1. Thumbnail
2. Description
3. Proper Title as per ImDb
4. Host Prefix
Optional:
1. Rating
2. Genre
3. Quality
4. My upload
Respect all members!
Especially those who take the time to find and post movies.
No offensive language what so ever
All racist, sexist or homophobic abuse are NOT permitted!
This includes members trying to get around the filter we have in place to stop swearing by posting **** or other symbols.
I am sure we can all agree that we would like to upkeep a certain level of quality. We are not a bunch of hoodlums who are not capable of proper communication so swear words are a no go.
Private messages are exactly that PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL and may not be posted or discussed in the forums, an infraction or ban will be given if this rule is broken.
All members accounts are also kept confidential, this includes reasons they were banned etc, if you make a thread asking questions about member accounts it will be deleted and you will receive a formal warning.
Hidden or Masked Links, Watermarked Content & Private Videos
Direct Links ONLY.
If the first part of the video is showing another sites web address ON the movie screen (not below, above or next to the screen) it is watermarked.
Movies that are watermarked with a competitor site URL are not acceptable.
Please make sure your movie is ready to watch, if its is still converting, or not fully uploaded it is against the rules to post it and will be deleted.
No Private View / Pay per view Movies, or links from sites you have to join to be able to watch.
We want ALL of our users to be able to watch the movies without being forced to join.
All posts showing up ******* will be deleted.
Links hidden in a pay per click url./ pay per view
Delete & Ban immediately
If you use something to mask the competitor link this will result in a ban no questions asked.
Spamming
Posting a link to another movie link forum, advertising another site or product is SPAMMING and will result in being banned permanently INSTANTLY full stop.
Don't waste your time :) we are most efficient getting rid of spammers as we are most vigilant in order to keep our members safe.
Rights and Responsibilities
You have the right to a clean forum, to free content and a safe environment.
However with every right comes responsibilities.
It is your responsibility to contribute by either.
Saying thank you to the people who provide you with said clean, free and safe forum and work tirelessly everyday to keep it so.
Saying thank you to those who provide you with links and uploads. Without them you would have to spend lots of cash. So do NOT complain about quality of a movie that isnt even available on DVD yet...if you want perfect quality wait and buy it..or else go to the movies to watch it.
There is nothing wrong with voicing your opinion, however mind your manners and at least say thanks for the effort.
Follow posting rules. We always remind and help out, but we canot run after every person who is simply too lazy to read posting rules.
Report dead links or spam. It takes a second and really is a big contribution.
Donate either time or funds.
Either one of those aforementioned will do just fine.
We reserve the right to delete/edit posts individually and situationally.
